How to Properly Vacuum Floors
Vacuum at least once a week, possibly more often in areas of high traffic. Most professionals recommend that you vacuum from the inside out (starting at the farthest corner from the door) so that you’re not stepping over newly vacuumed areas. However, many hotels train their staff to do something a little different – Vacuum into the room over the high-traffic areas- and then vacuum yourself out, so you hit the most walked-on spots twice.
As for vacuuming under beds and dressers, try to find the time to thoroughly vacuum at least once a month. Dust and pollen can settle behind and beneath beds and dressers, creating a stuffy environment.
Once a month move your furniture and vacuum beneath it.
