Fenugreek often has very beneficial effects for healthier hair (more manageable, faster growth, thicker hair with more fullness) as well as in adding fullness and firmness to breasts, in some cases resulting in a size increase up to several inches and /or 1 or 2 cup sizes.  See my post on my personal experience with healthier hair and firmer, fuller breasts using fenugreek.  And if you happen to be a woman who suffers from unwanted facial hair, fenugreek is known to slow that down as well. (I buy my fenugreek at iherb.com for the best pricing).

Why does fenugreek have breast enhancing effects?  Many people wonder if this is for real or some sort of urban myth or old wives tale. It’s definitely for real, and its based in science.

Fenugreek stimulate the production of prolactin, which, in simplified terms, directs fat to the breasts. Because it stimulates prolactin production, it is also often recommended for mothers who are nursing but are having trouble with milk production because prolactin also stimulates milk production. Many women use it for this purpose very effectively.

“Prolactin works with estrogen to develop the mammary glands, while increasing the number of estrogen receptors in the breasts. Prolactin also causes the breasts to store fat by increasing the production of lipoprotein lipase (LPL) in your breasts. LPL is a “fat storage” enzyme.” It also contains diosgenin which mimimcs the effects of estrogen and is known to cause breast
growth.”  – Source: BHM
